About Me:
I have never written one good paragraph about myself in all the years this site has been online. I'm never quite sure its because I'm so complicated or just so plain boring so-- I though the best way to introduce myself was to do it the eHarmony way by revealing some of my 1,233,398 key dimensions of compatibility:
Favorite Movies:
- Shrek 1, 2, 3...
- Back to the Future 1 and 3 (The second one, eh...)
- Indiana Jones 1 and 3 (What is it with second movies?)
- Anything with Katharine Hepburn
- Gone with the Wind
Books:
- I mostly read historical non-fiction. Yes I am THAT exciting! My favorite subjects are: Abraham Lincoln, The Civil War, Ancient Rome, Greece and Egypt. I'm a big history buff!
Television:
- History Channel (Except for the UFO and Air Combat shows)
- Samantha Brown on the Travel Channel. I could watch her vacation in a hole in the ground and still find her entertaining.
- Most Haunted on the Travel Channel. Watching Most Haunted makes me wonder why I didn't think about producing a show like that. Viewers hair would stand on end watching me run up and down my basement stairs at night while doing laundry . If I could just find a medium that could channel that shadowy "thing" behind my water heater, it would put Most Haunted to shame.
- Ghost Hunters on SciFi. This is MUCH better than Most Haunted!
- American Chopper on TLC. I love watching the whole design process and the bickering between Paul Sr. and Paul Jr.
- Little House on the Prairie (On every channel in the world twelve times a day) - I've watched every single episode at least 200 times but still enjoy it. They just don't make shows like that anymore.
- WAY TOO MUCH cable news.
Other extremely important "dimensions":
- Pepsi over Coke
- Cardinals over Cubs
- Democrat over Republican (Though I'm independent minded.)
- Chevy over Ford
- Munsters over The Adams Family
All that said, I simply love to design and this site challenges me to delve a little deeper into the design process. I try to create tutorials and projects that are interesting and something designers, artists and/or illustrators, would do, or would like to do, in the real world. I hope you enjoy you the site, and as always, I welcome your input and suggestions.
