Medieval Text

Here is some rustic, metal, medieval looking text created in Fireworks. This is another text effect that uses quite a few different filters, so I thought I'd make it easy on you, (and me), and have you download the PNG file to discover how it was created. All the filters used can be found in the Properties Inspector (Fig. 1.1), as well as the pattern, stroke settings and the font style used. Feel free to use whatever font you want. This effect also works well on objects other than text so go ahead and save it as a style for future use!

Important Notes: This PNG file requires Fireworks CS3 or later since a couple Photoshop Live Effects are used as well.
