Slime Text

Chocolate Text Effect

This text has been slimed and there's not a Ghostbuster in sight! Perfect for ghostly, creepy, Halloween text effects.

You can download the font used in this example (Poornut) by visiting the site below:

http://www.fonts101.com/xt_fontdetails_az_FID!28151~Poornut~font.html

The text properties are shown below in the Properties Inspector.

Font: Poornut
Size: 150
Color: #00FF00
Italic
Smooth Anti-Alias
*Make sure Auto kern is NOT checked

Add the following Filters to the text: (Works best on a white background.)

Glow

Width: 1
Color: #00FF00
Opacity: 65%
Softness: 5
Offset: 0

Inner Glow

Width: 8
Color: White
Opacity: 69%
Softness: 3
Offset: 0

Curves

This is actually the effect that creates the "slimy" look of the text by creating the inner "white" outlines that curve around the text. (See the image below.)

Depending upon your text size and your preferences it isn't necessary to match the Curves exactly to mine but you will need two points along the curve - the first one being "higher" than the other.
